He:- “Its a beautiful place, Isn’t It?”
She:- “Yes.. beautiful and silent. There is no one but still feels like we are not alone…”
He:- “coz my dear this place is haunted. The reason it is deserted at this hour is no one dares to stay here after sunset.”
She:- “What? And you brought me here?”
He:- “Haha because I wanted you n me to be alone somewhere and I thought no place is perfect then this. And you know that I dont believe in ghosts, spirits and whatever.”
She:- “But you know that I believe, right? Now lets go. (Angry She started walking then suddenly stops)Wait..Whats that?
woww beautiful. (Peeping inside ) its so dark down there.”
He:- “Thats where spirits reside peoples say.”
(Turning around from the structure..Her face turned pale.)
She:- “Lets go”
He:- “Wait… What happened”
She:- “Someone calling my name from that structure.”
He:- “You must have felt like that”
She:- “No.. no..”
He:-  Ok.. Ok.. lets go.
They soon left the place.

In the middle of the night while asleep she heard soft voice close to her ear calling her name. Scared she sat on the bed sweaty with eyes wide open.

She looked around in the dark room. No one was there. Everything Silent. Minutes later She tried to lay down, once again someone whispered her name.

Slowly she got up from her bed and came out of her room, opened main door and started walking towards the carved structure that had attracted her in the evening. She stood there staring it for few minutes then peeped inside for a while. Smiling she threw herselfdown in the dark. Her piercing scream echoed in the dark night.

Few Weeks Later…

He alone came at the same place where they came together for weekend outing for the last time before she went missing. He spent few lonely hours thinking about his love. When evening started turning into dark night, he turned around to leave the place but stopped. He had heard a soft whisper calling his name and recognised her voice. Startled he looked around… no one. Once again she called his name. This time He looked at the direction from where voice came. He kept staring at the carved structure.

Three Lives.. One Dark Secret.

She:- “Beautiful calm place. Dark clouds hovering above mountains and sun struggling to shine from behind black clouds proves evil always win over pure.”
Her:- “Why are you sounding so negative today. Evil can empower good soul, but it can never win. Look at that silent lake. It bears harsh sunlight every day, but never reacts against its nature. It is always calm.”
She:- “But when there is heavy rainfall, it becomes aggressive and destroy everything that comes in its way.”
Her:- “Why are you sounding so depressed. You always keep positive outlook then what’s wrong today?”
She:- “I understood one thing.. Being positive and good doesn’t work in today’s world. I always believed if we are good then nothing bad will ever happen with us, But I was wrong all these years. You know Today even this beautiful nature can’t change me into positive.”
Her:- “Will you tell me what is wrong?”
She:- (staring directly into her eyes) “Will you tell me Why you behaved like this to me? I always trusted you, but you backstabbed me. You are my childhood friend still…”
Her:- “What are you talking about?”
She:- “I saw romantic messages exchanged between you two… You and my fiance.. You both met behind my back most nights. I know everything. (Sudden change in behaviour and voice)You know … Yesterday we came here at same spot.”
Her:- “You came across that dark secret which I wished should never come out?? Not atleast like this. Trust me it just happened.. I never wanted to break your trust . I am sorry.”
She:- “Will sorry erase everything?? People whom i loved n trusted the most betrayed me. Tell me Will everything be fine like before between us ?”
Her:- “I accept it was a grave mistake n we both are guilty for what we did and discussed and tried to stay away from each other many times but ended up being together. But now it seems he took decision n chose you as since yesterday he didn’t contact me.”
She:- Nooo.. its not a mistake(She screamed), it is a crime and (In Soft Voice) he didnt took any decision.”
Her:- “Mean?”
She:- (smiling)”Come .. follow me.. come here hold my hand.”
Her:- Why?? What happened?”
She:- “There… he is waiting for you.”
Hér:- “What?”
She:- “Yes. since yesterday.”
Her:- “Since Yesterday? Where..what are you saying?”
She:- “Come. Trust me… I decided to bring you both together today.”
Her:- “Are you..”
She:- “Sshhh..shhh.. sshh.. Now come with me.”
Her:- “Its dark here. where are we going?”
She:- “Come. You two loved to meet in dark everytime..right?? At night..so today i decided to bring you both together in dark. Look… there he is waiting for you behind that tree. ”
Her:- (Screamed). “What you did to him?? Noooo…You killed him … ohh God…”
She:- (Calmly Staring at him) “He used to love this place a lot so I chose these beautiful place to bring you both together. You liked it??  Lake, mountains,silence and dark. Perfect.. isn’t it.”
Her:- “I am  sorry. Leave me. Let me go .. please Dont hurt me.”

One Gunshot In Her Head and She Crashed Down Beside Him.. Motionless.

Smiling She Squatted And Whispered, “Together… Forever.. In The Dark.”

Late Night Walking Alone Scared Me More As Yesterday Was Halloween Night, But Was Relieved When I Saw Young Lady On The Oppossite Direction That Gave Me Feeling I Was Not Alone, Who Must Have Spotted Fear On My Face As She Gave A Comforting Smile From Afar And Asked Me Whether M Scared When We Came Face To Face On Which I Nodded With A Smile Adding It’s Halloween Night Afterall, On Which She Let Out A Small Laugh And Said Don’t Be Before Resuming Her Walk And Wished Me Happy Halloween On Which I Turned Around To Wish Her Too, But There Was No One Behind Me Except Dark Long Deserted Street.

The Errie Place.

He used to love travelling alone and exploring new places where usually nobody ventures. The silent atmosphere used to calm his mind and the peace to be away from the eyes of the peoples, admiring old abondaned sites gives him a thrill.

While surfing his laptop, One such destination caught his attention. He googled more about details of the place, its history and some more information. The place was challenging to visit as information says it’s not safe to venture at night due to spooky experiences experienced by locals and travellers. Being an avid explorer, he wanted to visit the place as soon as possible.

The day had finally came. Haunted places never scared him as he doesn’t believe in ghosts and spirits. He had visited many haunted sites in the past, but never had any spooky experiences. He reached the place past 4pm. The place was beautiful and the old structure had its own charm. It was the remains of an old big house. Beautiful trees surrounded the structure. Errie silence all over the place with random chirping of the birds and the sound of wind with no humans in sight. He started exploring the place, clicked some pictures, explored the backyard, forest and the old house from inside. He didn’t even realised it was getting dark. By the time he finished exploring the place, sun had already set and it was pitch dark.  Hurriedly he started trekking down towards the main road. While walking down the narrow lane in the dark with dense trees on both sides, the sound of crushing dry leaves under his shoes made him little nervous. The chilled air was unbearable. Atlast he reached main road where his car was parked. Exhausted he sat in the car and drove.

Next evening while checking out the pictures of the trip, he was shocked and scared to see a woman in almost every click staring at him. He was sure there was no one except himself. His head started spinning and felt the chill at the nape of his neck, same like he had felt inside that old house and while trekking down at night. Scared He took out his cell phone from the pocket and clicked a selfie. when he checked out the image, the same woman was standing behind him.
