The Locked Room In The Corridor.

Attempt #8

The conference room at the end of the hallway hadn’t been used for several years because no one seemed to have the key for it.

The conference room at the end of the hallway hadn’t been used for several years because no one seemed to have the key for it. That night she was working alone till late in the office for the preparation of the next day presentation. When She was about to leave the office, she heard a sound of a knock.

She ignored the sound but few minutes later again she heard few knocks. It was coming from the same conference room which was believed to be haunted. Few minutes later the conference room door started to shake. Scared she ran towards the exit, then stopped midway.

She looked back and decided to walk towards the room. In the silent except the sound of her own footsteps she continued walking. Staring at the door for few minutes, she knocked softly and managed to say, “Helloooo…” In response there were continuous knocks and screeching sound of the furniture, scared she asked, “Anybody there???” In response she heard a frail sound, “Help Me..”

Someone was inside in the so called haunted conference room. She decided to inform the police. Few minutes later police came and broke open the door. She was shocked to see chained young girl. She was the same girl from the office who had gone missing since last few years and whose disappearance had caught media’s attention.

Today it came to light that She was not missing but abducted by her boss who kept her chained for all these years as she had hurted his male ego by rejecting his unwanted proposals. He used to drug her, tie her mouth so that she can’t shout and spread the rumours about haunted room, but luckily today she was able to knock and untie her mouth and caught her attention who showed guts to cross the hallway and find out the real reason behind the locked door. Their boss confessed the crime and was arrested.

The dark blue sky with millions and billions of twinkling stars and a beautiful moon with little clouds playing hide and seek. The most beautiful creation of God.

Tonite i looked up at the beautiful starry sky after a long time  and my mood instantly lifted up and tensions drifted away. Looking at the beautiful starry sky always bring a smile and the calming sensation. When i was kid i used to keep starring above for long hours. Did you ever saw the moving star and a twinkling stars with various colours like red, blue, purple or a star that moving and then stops at other place? Take some time in your busy schedule and enjoy the magic happening above too.
The other reason besides this is my grandmother. She is no more. Whenever i miss her i just look up at the stars and feel like my grandma is with me.  When we  i.e., me and my siblings were kids She used to take us on terrace and for long hours we used to stare at the sky lying on the floor. She used to tell us fairytales and some of her childhood memories. That days were the best and one of the most cherished childhood memories i treasure in my heart.
I witnessed the first shooting star and lots of passing comets with my grandma. She used to tell us that God created sky, stars, moon this universe for us to feel His existence, His magic and the feeling that He is above us all to protect us. Whenever you feel lonely, just look up and see you are not alone. The universe is with you.
When i lost her i felt like i lost my best friend, support, pillar of my life. She was the one who knew everything about me,my life,my secrets. She was a gem. I still remember her ever smiling face whenever m low,sad or depressed. whenever i want to be with my grandma , i just look above and feel like we are together. I have heard that when a person die they become star and watch us from above… and for me, the most twinkling star is my GRANDMOTHER.

Life itself is a journey.we all have to keep walking till our heart beats and the time we left behind creates memories…. some beautiful, some sad. Some incidents we remember, some fades away with time.

I love spending time alone with nature. A small stroll nearby or at park or simply gazing out from my window. Some incidents change our way of thinking forever. I want to share here my One small journey…. an unforgetable walk . A journey which made me realize that we all have different perspections on same things.

I was at my native. One evening I decided to take an evening stroll to the near by beach and enjoy the beautiful nature, fresh air and sunset as that place was near my house. After sunset i was on my way back home I saw a guy who I have met once so  casually asked him that he too love to spend time on beach and he said No, And told me that he was there because his family wants to enjoy the breeze who I saw was at distance.

I thought how can someone hate sea. Its so calm n beautiful. I asked him is their some reason and he told me he lost his friends two years back on a trip to Arnala beach. He and his friends were enjoying, playing in water  near the shore and suddenly one big wave just swept away everyone into the deep. One moment they were all enjoying and within seconds everyone was crying for help. All 13 were swept away and only this guy was saved by a local fisherman. He was in shock for few months after that incident.

He still can’t forget that day, their cries, their faces and struggle to reach the shore. Luckily fisherman was successful saving this guy’s life by grabbing his hand who was unconscious. That one big wave changed his life forever. He lost all his friends. Since then whenever he see the beach he remember that incident who took his friends life.

That day I realised we all have different perspective on the same thing. If one thing gives us happiness, the same can be the reason for someone’s sadness too.

The journey towards the beach was supposed to make me feel happy, relaxed but now whenever I see the beach, somewhere back in to my mind it reminds me that unfortunate incident where this guy lost all his 13 friends forever.
