The 15th. #love

She was waiting for him since last two hours. Now she began to worry as he had never been so late. She was continuously trying to reach him but every time his cell went unanswered.

She went to his place, door was locked. She knocked on neighbour’s door. They were expecting her. She asked impatiently about him. They invited her inside and gave a glass of water. They told her he had left message for her. He had gone to her place and going to wait for her. She sighed, relieved and hugged old lady and left.

“I feel so sad for her.” Neighbour said wiping her tears.

“Yes me too.” her husband said.

On every month’s 15th She knocks on their door from last 6months.

They were madly in love. Six months ago they decided to get married. On 15th he decided to introduce his highschool sweetheart to his parents. When he was on the way to meet her, his car met with an accident and tragically lost his life on spot. Unaware of the tragedy, she was waiting for him in excitement.

When hours passed she began to worry. Clueless, Restless she decided to go and check on him at his place. His house was locked. She then went to his neighbour’s house and knocked. They asked her to come inside then gave water and at that time they heard police siren and ambulance. She came out running and saw him. It was his body. Shocked, She collapsed. She never accepted he was gone forever.

For her time stopped. Since then On every 15th she gets ready and waits for him on the decided place and time. At particular time just like that fateful day she calls on his number then goes to his place restless and knocks on his neighbor’s door to enquire about him. Everytime they tell her he is waiting for her at her place so that she reaches to her peoples and home safely.

Three Lives.. One Dark Secret.

She:- “Beautiful calm place. Dark clouds hovering above mountains and sun struggling to shine from behind black clouds proves evil always win over pure.”
Her:- “Why are you sounding so negative today. Evil can empower good soul, but it can never win. Look at that silent lake. It bears harsh sunlight every day, but never reacts against its nature. It is always calm.”
She:- “But when there is heavy rainfall, it becomes aggressive and destroy everything that comes in its way.”
Her:- “Why are you sounding so depressed. You always keep positive outlook then what’s wrong today?”
She:- “I understood one thing.. Being positive and good doesn’t work in today’s world. I always believed if we are good then nothing bad will ever happen with us, But I was wrong all these years. You know Today even this beautiful nature can’t change me into positive.”
Her:- “Will you tell me what is wrong?”
She:- (staring directly into her eyes) “Will you tell me Why you behaved like this to me? I always trusted you, but you backstabbed me. You are my childhood friend still…”
Her:- “What are you talking about?”
She:- “I saw romantic messages exchanged between you two… You and my fiance.. You both met behind my back most nights. I know everything. (Sudden change in behaviour and voice)You know … Yesterday we came here at same spot.”
Her:- “You came across that dark secret which I wished should never come out?? Not atleast like this. Trust me it just happened.. I never wanted to break your trust . I am sorry.”
She:- “Will sorry erase everything?? People whom i loved n trusted the most betrayed me. Tell me Will everything be fine like before between us ?”
Her:- “I accept it was a grave mistake n we both are guilty for what we did and discussed and tried to stay away from each other many times but ended up being together. But now it seems he took decision n chose you as since yesterday he didn’t contact me.”
She:- Nooo.. its not a mistake(She screamed), it is a crime and (In Soft Voice) he didnt took any decision.”
Her:- “Mean?”
She:- (smiling)”Come .. follow me.. come here hold my hand.”
Her:- Why?? What happened?”
She:- “There… he is waiting for you.”
Hér:- “What?”
She:- “Yes. since yesterday.”
Her:- “Since Yesterday? Where..what are you saying?”
She:- “Come. Trust me… I decided to bring you both together today.”
Her:- “Are you..”
She:- “Sshhh..shhh.. sshh.. Now come with me.”
Her:- “Its dark here. where are we going?”
She:- “Come. You two loved to meet in dark everytime..right?? At night..so today i decided to bring you both together in dark. Look… there he is waiting for you behind that tree. ”
Her:- (Screamed). “What you did to him?? Noooo…You killed him … ohh God…”
She:- (Calmly Staring at him) “He used to love this place a lot so I chose these beautiful place to bring you both together. You liked it??  Lake, mountains,silence and dark. Perfect.. isn’t it.”
Her:- “I am  sorry. Leave me. Let me go .. please Dont hurt me.”

One Gunshot In Her Head and She Crashed Down Beside Him.. Motionless.

Smiling She Squatted And Whispered, “Together… Forever.. In The Dark.”

The Locked Room In The Corridor.

The conference room at the end of the hallway hadn’t been used for several years because no one seemed to have the key for it.

The conference room at the end of the hallway hadn’t been used for several years because no one seemed to have the key for it. That night she was working alone till late in the office for the preparation of the next day presentation. When She was about to leave the office, she heard a sound of a knock.

She ignored the sound but few minutes later again she heard few knocks. It was coming from the same conference room which was believed to be haunted. Few minutes later the conference room door started to shake. Scared she ran towards the exit, then stopped midway.

She looked back and decided to walk towards the room. In the silent except the sound of her own footsteps she continued walking. Staring at the door for few minutes, she knocked softly and managed to say, “Helloooo…” In response there were continuous knocks and screeching sound of the furniture, scared she asked, “Anybody there???” In response she heard a frail sound, “Help Me..”

Someone was inside in the so called haunted conference room. She decided to inform the police. Few minutes later police came and broke open the door. She was shocked to see chained young girl. She was the same girl from the office who had gone missing since last few years and whose disappearance had caught media’s attention.

Today it came to light that She was not missing but abducted by her boss who kept her chained for all these years as she had hurted his male ego by rejecting his unwanted proposals. He used to drug her, tie her mouth so that she can’t shout and spread the rumours about haunted room, but luckily today she was able to knock and untie her mouth and caught her attention who showed guts to cross the hallway and find out the real reason behind the locked door. Their boss confessed the crime and was arrested.

Follow Your Instinct.

Life was rough for her since she shifted to a new city. Big dreams in her eyes and the fire inside to achieve everything she desired, deserved and to live life on her own terms. Alone, beautiful, single young woman trying her luck in the big city is really a difficult task.

Recently she got a good opportunity to work in a big multinational company. She was happy as her hardwork paid off. Everything was as per her expectations except her Boss. He was in his mid fifty. Most of the time he used to make her wait beyond office hours. She has to obey as he was her boss and to complete the work in scheduled time was her duty, she can’t deny even if he allot her work everyday just when she’s about to leave the office. Sometimes her instinct hinted her something is not right in his intensions, she used to brushed away such thoughts thinking it might be normal to work late hours in big city.

One day her boss asked her to accompy him for the meeting at the hotel. He asked her to be there to assist him in his work. The venue and time was odd as he asked her to be there at sharp 10pm. She had to obliged as it was her boss decision. She reached the hotel premises by 9.45pm. He saw her from his suite window, a cunning smile appeared on his face. When she reached the reception area, a message was waiting for her. He had asked her to directly join him to his suite.

‘Weird’, she thought and entered in to the lift. Something is really wrong, her instinct once again warned her. ‘Get away from this place, dont go’, her mind was continuously trying to alert her. Confused, scared she reached near the door. Slowly Her hand reached out to knock, at that moment something stopped her hand midway. A voice from her head screamed, ‘NO’. She turned and walked away.

Next morning her resignation letter was on the boss desk.

Nothing is more important than safety, dignity for a woman. What if she is staying alone, working late night. Nobody can take her for granted.
