Holding a glass of wine n enjoying cool breeze with soft music at the background, she was Staring at the most brightest twinkling star from her balcony for a long time with a smile on her face. 

She loved spending hours admiring dark sky, moon n stars since she was a little girl.. But today she was staring for a long time.

“Beautiful… See you soon.” She wispered softly with a smile when brightest star hid behind dark clouds. “Now its time to sleep n leave all the worries behind.”

She took last sip n went inside towards her bed n slept to never get up again.

In the middle of the concert she remembers that her mom must be trying to reach her on cellular and she forgot her mobile in the car. 

Walking towards the car parking area in the dark, three drunkards started following her and seeing her alone one from them holds her from back, with that she knocked him so hard by her elbow that he fell down on the ground with bloodied nose and charged on other two till they can’t stand.

Looking at their shocked faces she said, ” Don’t mistake thinking women as weak or someone who can’t fight back for her safety and if possible try to be protector seeing a women alone on lonely street rather than thinking her as an easy target.”

TRICKED. (Daily Prompt-Exposed)

She was already late to leave office due to extra workload, at the same time her cell phone beeps… twice. Hurriedly she checks, two notifications flashes. An mms and a text message. She opens the mms, content freezed her. She sat down on the chair… shocked, Scared. She opens another message. It was a text message from her boss that says, ” Meet me in the cabin.”

Few minutes later she got up and started walking towards the cabin, knocked and got inside. ” Enjoyed mms??” Her boss asks her. She looked up, staring straight into his eyes, ” How did you manage to record.” He smiles, “I told you in a good way that I like you and want to spend some moments with you. Sometimes you ignored and many times declined. So I have to set up everything. You forced me to do it… to breach the ethics and record you. The office trip was planned especially for you last month, to record you. This is just one mms, i got few more… now do you want me to upload it for everyone or…” Her cellphone beeps.

She looks at him and smiles seductively. He rise up from his chair and comes towards her, at the same time the cabin door opens. A policemen and some office staffs with a cell phone in their hands records everything. He was caught redhanded.

She stood up, slapped him hard, ” My answer is and was No. It’s not that easy to break me or blackmail me. I am a woman and I know how to save myself from the wolves like you. If you can plan office trip for my mms, can’t I plan to expose you, to record everything that you said and call police in 5mins after receiving your message and inform colleagues about your mms and intention.”

Police seize his cellphone, and drag him out of his cabin. Next day officials decides to sack him from the job.

She felt completely unprepared for this interview….

She felt completely unprepared for this interview. New city, New place and the very first interview in the new city. Being  busy in shifting process, she got no time for preparation for interview that too in such a big company. This job was very important for her, being a single mother with no one’s support and to survive in the new city, job was must. 

While sitting in the lobby, receptionist asked to follow her towards the cabin. She knocked the door with a deep breathe and stepped in. Boss asked her to come in and take a seat without looking up. She freezed as soon as she entered the cabin. Once again he politely asked her to take a seat, this time looking up. He too was shocked and can’t believe his eyes. He got up from his seat in disbelief. She was staring at him. He was the same man who played with her emotions and left her promising marriage when she got pregnant, but did not turned up on marriage date. Today she came to know he lied his real name too. She came slowly towards him and slapped him hard and left his cabin.

How Much I Wish It’s A Dream.

She was in her bedroom when She opened eyes. Blurry vision, Head banging as if someone was hitting hard from inside with the hammer. She reached for the glass of water from the corner table and checked time in her cell phone, “It’s 11.05 am… How can I sleep so much.” She hurriedly got up from her bed. As soon as she stood, her head started spinning and her whole body was in pain. Holding head in her palms she sat down at the corner of the bed. “Something is not right. What happened last night. How and when did I reached home. When did I left pub and who dropped me.” Nothing she remembered… Blank.  So many questions but no answers.

Slowly she got up to take shower. After shower she stood in front of the mirror. “What are these marks. Why my body is feeling something different today. What’s wrong, what happened… Why i can’t recollect anything about last night.”

Worried she took a deep breathe and closed her eyes and once again tried to remember about the past night. Slowly she started unfolding the sequences in her head… Left home and met friends outside the pub. Dancing, drinking and everyone was having a good time. Few hours later decided to return home as it was past 2 am. Bid good bye to friends and left pub… then…  “What happened after that”. She opened her eyes and streched her mind little more.. nothing .. Again Blank.

Scared she decided to go for a body checkup. Her fear was real… she got a medical report that confirmed she was sexually abused. “No…. This is not true. This can’t be true. How is that possible. I got up in my room…  I don’t remember anything how I got home but…” Doctor patiently heard her and told her she was drugged. She was silent.

One more life ruined due to date rape. Who, when, known or unknown… whom to trust , whom to doubt… Questions that will remain in her mind but probably unanswered forever.

The incident changed her forever.

I Chose Mind Over Heart.

She left her boyfriend of six years when a rich and handsome boy proposed her for marriage. Did She dumped Her boyfriend for a rich guy or was that Her practical decision or say difficult situation where She needs to think by Mind more than a Heart??

Too many views.. some in Her support, some against Her. But very few or may be no one knows the real reason behind Her decision except Her.. most will say She got attracted to His fortune and dumped Her Boyfriend, Few will call Her Gold Digger or Heart Breaker.
…And The Truth Behind Her Decision…
I dumped my boyfriend of six years… not an easy decision. Six faithful years proves that I am not someone who loves to play with the feelings or with someones heart or someone who easily gets attracted to money. I knew my boyfriend was not rich, nor do I. But I dreamt of a beautiful life post marriage…. Actually we dreamt, Me and my boyfriend, but to walk on the lane to fulfill dreams needs dedication, hardwork and that was missing.. Not from me, but from him. Only love and promises is not enough to lead a beautiful life that we have dreamt together. I have experienced poverty… I don’t want to live again the same life, when I know I can achieve everything that I desired. I started my beautiful journey towards the dream destination soon after my graduation. I worked hard to maintain a lifestyle that I was currently living with the money I myself earned, but I need my partner to walk with me too, to show his support to be there where we dreamt of , but he was nowhere.. He just wanted to enjoy life.. thats good .. but from my hard earnings???

I know His love for me was true, His feelings was real. I thought with time He will change, will be serious with His life , but No.. He was not. Little irritation and small fights started between us. Every other day we fought with each other, but love was intact between us.  He thought I changed, but I was not… I wanted Him to change, not in the way He treats me, but in a professional way. Differences increased but we sticked together.. You know.. our love was that deep. By then one day  I got a good marriage proposal.. I told him .. still nothing changed. May be He took me and My love for granted. By now my mind was more powerful then my heart… My mind explained My heart… told to think about Life in the long term.. Heart kept quiet.. Mind won.. I said Yes.. Yes to the good proposal… Yes to the life I always dreamt of… Today I am  happy .. My mind was right.
Call me anything.. I knew I did right. My decision was right.. yes may be little selfish, but to take love for granted is wrong too.

Whoever think I did wrong, Once Keep your daughter or yourself in my place and then think what would be the correct decision… then decide Was I wrong or Right.

The Twisted Love. (Daily Prompt-Acceptance).

The Never Ending Wait….

They met and soon got into relationship. It seems like a fairytale love story to her. They accidently met at the liabrary, their books got exchanged and thats how they started to know each other. Soon numbers were exchnged between them and then coffee outings. One day he asked her for a date, She was too happy to decline and said Yes.  He proposed her and she accepted. They were madly in love with each other. Everything happened in a couple of months.

Weekdays, weekend outings, nightouts, parties ..life was fun for them.  Romance was in the air. Soon He got shifted to her place, so that they can spend every moment with each other. Days passed by and one day she gave him the most happiest news , “I Am Pregnant. Soon You are going to be dad and me Mom.”  She was expecting their baby.  He smiled and took her in his arms. That was the best moment for her. She decided to celebrate this news and planned for a great romantic dinner. She asked him to come home soon tonite. He hugged her, kissed her forhead and said, ‘ I Will‘.
Later at evening she prepared dinner, arranged everything, took shower and dressed beautifully for the romantic night. Aromatic candles were lit in every corner of the room. The ambience was romantic. She was excited, smiling and eagerly waiting for him. She thought,” It’s 8.30 pm, He should be home by now.” But he was not.  Now its 9.45pm, worried She tried his number and it went unanswered.

She checked his room. His wardrobe was empty. He took all his belongings when he left this morning. She came to know he was gone and this wait is never ending. He left her forever.

She was shattered from inside. It was depressing for her and too difficult to accept the fact that he was cheating her all these months. The morning hug, forehead kiss and goodbye was for the last time. He left her when she needed him the most.

She Loved Him Truly… He Loved Her Physically.

Destiny 

Standing Alone in the corner away from the crowd, My eyes constantly on her…. Today I smiled for the first time when I saw tears in her eyes. I was happy when she softly uttered those those three words for Me I Love You softly with teary eyed.

Afterall I came to know that She too loves Me.

Sadly it’s too late now. I already left the world and She was here for My funeral.

Proud Of My Ownself.

When She Stepped out from her house with luggage in her hand, everyone started Murmuring. She chose to ignore, knowing peoples will definitly going to talk about her… Some in Favour, Some against Her. Afterall She took a brave decision of her life against her husband… To leave him and support her old in-laws, whose only son had asked them to leave their house. She chose to be with them.

A decision that needs courage to stand against husband and most importantly to be a daughter to that old couple and support them.

What humanbeings really expect from life? Success, Money,  Fame, Designation or something else?? Actually in the end we humanbeings want happiness and peaceful life. Early morning while sipping hot cup of coffee standing on my balcony and watching the crowd moving hurriedly to their destination, a thought crept into my mind. Running almost all life chasing the material things, how can any person find the time to enjoy what they really want to do in life?? Do they atleast find the time to relax and breathe cool morning breeze or to simply enjoy watching the rising sun??? Most people will say No.
while I was Ruminating about humanbeings and logic behind hectic lifestyle, the sound of my alaram clock brought me back from my thoughts and made me realise it’s my time to join the crowd.

This is unavoidable… You have to run, compete and earn money to survive in the world weather you like it or not. May be everyone dreams the same … A lazy life in the arms of  nature.

The best way  to enjoy your dream life is spare some time from the hectic schedule and enjoy carefree, tensionfree life. Sometimes take a break and enjoy the cool breeze and morning sun, starry night somewhere in the arms of Nature, if not then from your balcony.

Lone Journey towards my dreamy life.

 

I chose my own path, knowing about too many obstacles in my way. Winning or losing is not in my hand, but satisfaction of choosing my life to live on my own terms in this difficult world being a woman is the challenge I accepted.  

I am Aware of the consequences I have to face to reach my desired destination, but to go on knowing that has its own charm. May be the time it will take will be forever… but the happiness on walking on my chosen path is too high that no one will ever understand.

If I win it’s like I live my dream fully… If I lose I will learn from the past mistakes but will continue my journey till I am alive craving new paths but the destination will remain the same.

WHO IS THE REAL CULPRIT.(Daily Prompt-RESIST)

Everytime when untoward incident happens with any girl or women at any corner of the world, fingers are raised on her or that women is being  judged first. Questions like why was she their at first place or what was she doing there at this hour or why was she with them and it goes on n on n on…  In reality men should resist their actions against women which destroy her life forever, but instead of that We see most of the time blames are put on the victim.

First everyone shows sympathy and then will say after dark girls should never venture out alone or with guys. And if the incident happened in broad day light then most of them will pointout on her clothes or sometimes directly on her character.

I always wonder why???why women are easy targets when men are at fault.. why no one question that male who is a criminal..who misbehaves with the ladies..who openly does  eve teasing on road or at public place openly, but public chose to ignore rather than to resist their actions. No one pointout on their upbringing or character but asks women to be extra careful.

I am against this society thinking that indirectly protect accused and to follow this norms of being tied or confined girls at home after dark because some ill men on road can’t resist their urge after spotting women in the late night alone.

Instead of setting norms for girls about what to do and what not to do.. teach men to respect women. Teach boys to respect girls in their growing years.. Let them know women are not the easy targets and they too have life and loves to enjoy their share of happiness to the fullet without any fear. women too are from the same society as men and we too have equal right to live life the way we want.

Real men is the one who  protect the women who is alone on the road rather than misbehave with her.
